Burberry Prorsum AW11

Set in the stunning new location of Kensington Gardens, Burberry showed their Autumn/Winter 2011 collection yesterday as well as being the first brand ever to live stream in Picadilly Circus.
Campaign girl Jourdan Dunn opened the show which was very much focused on outerwear. From pops of colour to fur trims and chunky cable knits the collection showcased what Burberry are all about. A new and exciting take on the traditional trench coat that has become an iconic symbol of the brand.
The accessories didn't disappoint either, the oversized bags echoed the colours of the coats and the shoes are sure to be a favourite among the fash pack. Towering wedges with tassels and suede, a definite addition to my wish list for next season.
When the last look had left the catwalk, everyone was on the edge of their seats in anticipation of how Bailey would top the rainfall of the menswear show last month. As the lights came up, the snow fell down, a beautiful end to a beautiful show as the models reappeared in transparent rain macs to walk the finale.
