D.I.Y: Studded pocket

Studs are a big trend for Spring. With studded biker jackets seen on the catwalks of Burberry and Balmain, I wanted to show you a simple and inexpensive way of creating a similar look.

Here's how to do it:

1. Take an old pair of jeans and cut down one side of the pocket to create a flap.
2. Fold this back on itself and iron into place.
3. Take an individual stud, press through the fabric and bend the ends to secure.
4. Repeat this step by adding more studs in a grid formation until the entire area is covered.

These particular studs were £2.60 from McCulloch and Wallis but you should be able to get them from all good haberdasheries. They are so easy to use and add edge to a standard pair of jeans.
