Haute Halloween: Ashish skeleton dress

So this is the weekend where fashion pretty much goes out of the window and even the most stylish among us will go out in a cheap witches hat or a pair of cat ears. If you want your Halloween look to be chic why not invest in this Ashish number? A skeleton dress made entirely of sequins...Yes please

Top picks: Neutral knits

There's nothing I love more in winter than a good piece of knitwear. A neutral jumper is a wardrobe staple so here is the best of what the high street has to offer this season:

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Vogue Germany November 2011

How incredible does Rosie Huntington-Whiteley look in these shots for the November issue of Vogue Germany? The British bombshell appears on the cover and in a six page spread for the magazine wearing nothing but Burberry. Shot in New York by Alexi Lubomirski, the issue is out now.

Currently craving: Jeffrey Campbell Spike Litas

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these beauties. My beloved Litas have gone bad this season with studs and spikes all over the heels. One word...obsessed.

Obsessed with: ASOS knotted dress

As it's Friday, I just treated myself to this ASOS dress. I've had my eye on it for a while but held off buying it as the long sleeves made it seem a bit wintery. When I saw it had gone down to £30 in the sale I knew there was no excuse not to purchase the knotted beauty but to my delight, this morning I received an email from ASOS with an extra 10% off dresses today between 12pm and 2pm. Needless to say, I swiftly entered the promo code (PROMOTEN) and paid. Can't wait to wear it with thick black tights and ankle boots. Watch this space for an outfit post coming soon...

Top picks: SS12 Shoes

1. YSL, 2. Chloe, 3. Bottega Veneta, 4. Burberry, 5. Balmain, 6. Alexander Wang, 7. Rodarte, 8. Thakoon
Anyone who knows me well will tell you I have a slight shoe obsession...so naturally my eyes were glued to the models feet during the shows this season. In anticipation of what I will be lusting over come Spring, I have put together my top picks from the catwalks. It was obvious metallics would be a huge trend but I absolutely love the gold hardware that adorned the shoes at YSL and Thakoon. Ankle straps were also a feature on most of the footwear, whether it's chunky at Alexander Wang or skinny at Burberry, it looks like we'll be buckling up in the warmer months. My favourite however has to be Bottega Veneta. The monochrome straps + the geometric sole + the bright yellow heel = sandal heaven.

Vanessa Bruno: AW11 video lookbook

It's always refreshing to see brands do something different with their lookbooks and this season Parisian designer Vanessa Bruno has done just that. The video for her AW11 lookbook features Bruno's new muse Kate Bosworth travelling from the streets of Paris to snow topped mountains and eerie forests to showcase the latest collection in weird and wonderful ways. From the reverse slow-motion filming at the beginning to travelling along a river and up a waterfall, Miss Bosworth is ethereal and intriguing to watch (not to mention the fact she looks stunning in the clothes). Her wispy, white blonde hair and dewy pale skin make her the perfect ambassador for the Russian inspired collection.

Balmain: SS12 Collection

By far my favourite collection for SS12 so far has to be Balmain. There is not a single look I didn't instantly want to own as I scrolled through them.
Sticking to what the French design house does best, this season Olivier Rousteing concentrated on statement jackets, short hemlines and skin tight trousers. The Balmain girl is rich, sexy and flashy so the SS12 collection suits her down to a T. Gold applique covered mini skirts, dresses and jackets with intricate brocade patterns were teamed with slouchy shirts and huge statement buckle belts. Effortless but very expensive.
