Maison Martin Margiela: Untitled

I am totally obsessed with this fragrance by Maison Martin Margiela. From the bottle to the packaging and the scent, I love the simplicity of it. There has been a recent trend for unisex fragrances, Dolce and Gabanna and Tom Ford are among other designers choosing to be less defined by gender when it comes to eau de parfum. With citrus top notes and a hint of jasmine, this scent wins for me hands down. 'Untitled' by Maison Martin Margiela is available at Selfridges now.

Style for less: Miss Wu

Jason Wu Autumn/Winter 2012
Manhattan based designer Jason Wu has today announced that he will be creating a contemporary line called Miss Wu. The collection will first be available in US department store Nortstrom before launching to a wider audience a year later.

Wu's collaboration with Target earlier this year gave him an insight into the world of design for a lower price point and inspired him to create the new collection.

"Instead of just doing 'Jason Wu-for-less,' the idea is to explore the other side of myself," Wu told WWD. "I always see Jason Wu as my aesthetic, my design sensibility. Miss Wu is my personality. It was really fun to explore that facet of who I am - slightly more downtown, and with a more relaxed attitude."

Top 5: Printed shorts

Prints are having a moment this season and there's no better way to wear them than this. Shorts are the perfect alternative to a dress or skirt and when teamed with a t-shirt and blazer you can't go wrong. Just add killer heels for evenings or strappy gladiators for daytime chic. Here are my top 5 printed shorts out there right now:

Do it like a dude: Menswear SS13

Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Prada

It's almost that time of year again. Just when we get our summer wardrobes sorted, the designers show us what we'll be lusting over next year and all of a sudden we feel out of date. Well fear not, I have a solution. Taking inspiration from the menswear shows is the easiest way to get ahead of the trends. For Spring/Summer 2013 we'll all be thinking stripes, prints and metallics. Use these trends as a guide and you can't go wrong. Here's what I found on the high street right now:

Jumper: Topshop £36
Shorts: Reiss £55
Jeans: H&M £14.99
Shoes: ASOS £48
Bag: Topshop £15

Obsessed with: Blake Lively

Jenny Packham, Michael Kors

Zuhair Murad, Gucci

Blake Lively is hot property right now. Not content with being the muse of Christian Louboutin and the face of Chanel, the Gossip Girl actress has just been revealed as the star of the new Gucci fragrance campaign. We'll have to wait until September to see the full ad, but for now the brand have released a promo shot that oozes Hollywood glam.
This week Miss Lively has well and truely notched up the style points as she promotes her new film 'Savages'. I'm obsessed with the Zuhair Murad gown she wore to the LA premiere, not to mention the red Michael Kors suit she teamed with Louboutin heels to appear on Good Morning America. It's fair to say Blake has earned her spot on my girl crush list and I can't wait to see what she wears next.
